Bidco has chosen to be a part of several projects that lend a hand to younger generations, and enhance growth in business.
From the Tony Elumelu Foundation to the Starehe Girls Education Fund, Bidco is giving opportunities to potential leaders, and mentoring them to achieve and even surpass their goals.
In February 2013, Bidco picked 10 brilliant Kenyan girls from all over the country, and committed to fully funding their high school education at Starehe Girls Centre. The girls, from poor backgrounds, are also offered academic and moral mentorship.
This 2010 founded not-for-profit institution is committed to enhancing the competitiveness and growth within the African private sector through entrepreneurship. It emphasizes excellence in business leadership while identifying and addressing systematic challenges that inhibit African entrepreneurs.
The foundation was started by Tony O Elumelu. Mr. Vimal Shah, Bidco CEO, is on its advisory board.
